Camera Repairs

If your photographic equipment isn't running like it should, bring it in to Photo Pro. Our knowledgeable staff will take a look at the problem and see if it can't be resolved on the spot. Bring with you any evidence of the problem, such as damaged film, that may assist us in discovering the source of the trouble. If it's necessary to have it professionally fixed, we will send it to the appropriate repair facility.


Repair Facility Procedure

  • If the equipment is under manufacturer's warranty, a proof of purchase must accompany the unit when shipped or it will slow the procedure. If the product was purchased at Photo Pro, we can provide a copy of the original sales receipt.
  • Regardless of warranty coverage, all customers must pay a $15.00 fee up front to cover shipping, insurance, and estimate fees. This fee is later subtracted from the total repair cost if the facility's estimate is approved and the repair completed. If the estimate is not accepted, the equipment will be returned to the store and the total cost will be $15.00 plus tax.
  • Photo Pro feels it is prudent to always request an estimate for the repair cost. Estimates are generally completed within 2-3 weeks. We will contact the customer by phone or mail as soon as we receive the estimate. No repairs will proceed without the customer's authorization.
  • Repairs are generally completed in a few weeks to a month. When the repaired item is returned, we will contact you to come and pick it up. All repair costs must be paid at the time of collection.
